Measuring effectivenessNAVCA Measuring Effectiveness was a joint project between NACVS and Charities Evaluation Services (CES), the aim of which was to produce a self-evaluation toolkit that would enable the CVS network to improve its monitoring and evaluation activities and to share the information in a comparable and consistent way. Funded by the Home Office, the programme began in 1999 when over 50 CVS across England were recruited to help develop the toolkit and test it out in their own CVS. The end result is Measuring effectiveness: A self-evaluation toolkit for the national network of Councils for Voluntary Service (CVS). Measuring Effectiveness is available as a downloadable document in PDF format (1,370 KB). You will need adobe acrobat reader to do this. The tools are available as a Word document, so that they can be altered and adapted to the organisations' needs.
